Mustard Reduces Asthma Severity



Selium and Magnesium in mustard reduces asthma severity according to Dr. John LaPuma of ChefMD.com. One of the symptoms of asthma severity includes coughing. Dr. Lapuma recommends the use of buckwheat honey prevent coughs. Futher more, Dr. Lapuma said that buckwheat honey is just as good as an over the counter cough syrup for the common cold.

    About buckwheat honey for kids' coughs from colds: the most recent comparison of honey and dextromethorphan shows that "parents rated honey most favorably for symptomatic relief of their child's nocturnal cough and sleep difficulty due to upper respiratory tract infection"
