5 Natural Ways to reduce your chances of Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer among females.~ CDC
In the Book, The World's Greatest Treasures of Health Secrets, Dr. Adriane Fugh-Berman of Georgetown School of medicine listed four ways for women to reduce their risk of breast cancer and they are as follows: Eat more soy foods, Eat cruciferous vegetables, Avoid pesticides, Eat a low fat diet and Exercise.
1.) Eat more soy foods such as; Tofu and soy milk. Soy foods contain a plant estrogen called phytoestrogens. Phytoestrogens inhibit th ebody's own production of estrogen which may provide the fuel for breast cancer growth. **Soy Oil or Soy sauce contains phytoestrogens.
2.) Eat more brocolli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts and kale. These vegetables affect estrogen metabolism.
3.) Consider eating organic produce. Organic produce is free of pesticides (which contain estrogen-like compounds.) Be sure to peel or wash all fruits and vegetables thouroughly.
4.) Be sure that less than 20% of your calories are from fat.
5.) Women who exercise aerobically for more than 3 hours aweek have a lower risk of developing breast cancer.
