Keep the Bugs Away the Natural Way

The mosquito population increases during the summer time along with the use of insect repellants. When we chose to use eco friendly insect repellants, we chose to sustain the environment.

In the article, Outdoor Eco-Tips for Summer, Katie Sorenson recommends that we use an eco- friendly repellant candle that does not contain citronella (which may irritate skin and cause dermatitis). "If you are planning on using citronella candles outside, look for organic made candles. Many candle companies will have organically made options, says Sorenson."

Sorenson suggests the use of lemon grass as a natural mosquito repellant. Lemon Grass can be purchased from your local garden store or planted in your yard. When you rub the stalk of the lemon Grass on your skin, it will keep the bugs from biting you the Natural Way!
